The monster-themed figure series 'ART WORKS MONSTERS' released by Japanese model manufacturer MEGAHOUSE, following the 'Red-Eyes Black Dragon' from 'Yu-Gi-Oh!', has now announced a new color version, the 'Red-Eyes Black Dragon ~Holographic Edition~'. It is priced at 22,000 JPY and is scheduled for release in August 2024.
The overall sculpt of the 'ART WORKS MONSTERS Red-Eyes Black Dragon ~Holographic Edition~' is identical to previously released versions. Renowned sculptor Kenji Ando is responsible for the prototype, creating a 32.5 cm tall figure poised on a giant rock, wings spread and roaring! This version features a paint application reminiscent of a Holographic Rare card, with a blend of metallic purple, metallic black, and pearlescent gold across its entire body, recreating the layered, beautifully lustrous jet-black physique with its card-like laser reflection effect! The translucency of the wing membranes and claws is also darker, and the base is molded from orange-red transparent material, creating a lava-like texture that adds a touch of ferocity.
