Danish LEGO toy company recently unveiled a fantastic space-themed Gift-With-Purchase (GWP) set, "40712 Micro Rocket Launchpad"! Sales information for Taiwan was officially announced yesterday (14th) by LEGO Certified Stores. From February 19th to March 11th, 2024, customers who purchase any two sets totaling NT$6,950 or more at LEGO Certified Stores will receive it for free.
This 325-piece set is a tribute to the classic LEGO Space series. In addition to employing new building techniques and recreating classic models from the past in a micro scale, even the main characters have become miniature astronauts. Although their body shape is the same as the Space Baby that appeared earlier in "71037 LEGO Minifigure Series 24", the face print still features the iconic dot-eyed smiling face, conveying that the mini astronauts are scaled down to match the model's size.
