American exquisite playing card designer and manufacturer theory11 recently officially unveiled the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Collector's Playing Cards" (TMNT Playing Cards)! They are currently available for purchase on the theory11 official website, with a suggested retail price of US$12.95.
Let's begin by admiring the packaging of these Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Collector's Playing Cards. The overall design is dominated by green, red, and black, with the four turtle brothers exuding a fierce aura reminiscent of tigers unleashed, bringing to mind their early comic book appearances. Additionally, elements such as manhole covers, black silhouettes of the Turtles in battle poses, Master Splinter on the back of the box, and their arch-nemesis Shredder are also featured.
Next, let's examine the ingeniously designed character playing cards. All playing cards issued by theory11 are produced in the USA and manufactured using FSC-certified paper. This edition also incorporates silver foil to enhance its premium feel. A major highlight is the reinterpretation of classic characters in playing card style, including the four suits of K featuring the four turtle brothers, the Joker cards starring pizza, the Ace of Diamonds designed after the classic Turtle Van vehicle, the Party Wagon, as well as characters like Shredder, Krang, Splinter, and April O'Neil.
