[Unboxing] GSC – Hatsune Miku 15th Anniversary Ver.

Hello everyone, today I'm going to unbox and share with you the Hatsune Miku 15th Anniversary Ver. produced by GSC.

For those who aren't aware, Miku's 15th anniversary actually passed back in 2022.
After all, pre-orders opened in 2022, and it's impossible for products to be immediately available to buyers.
By the time everyone received theirs, it was already December 2023 or January 2024~XD

The overall design for the 15th anniversary is clearly strawberry-themed.
This is because the Japanese word for strawberry is "いちご" (Ichigo), which sounds like 1 (Ichi) and 5 (go).
So it's not just chosen for its cute and sweet aesthetic!

Taking advantage of this 15th-anniversary unboxing, I also unsealed the 10th-anniversary figure, which I hadn't displayed yet.
Since it's already open, I naturally took a few photos of the 10th-anniversary figure as well.
Placing both side-by-side, you can truly feel how much the craftsmanship of figures has continuously improved.

Here are the pictures:

The overall packaging perfectly matches the strawberry theme.
Full of pink and strawberry illustrations.

Contents

Figure Rotation
The figure has a substantial presence; it feels quite heavy when held.

Detail Shots
The face has no angle-specific issues.

The hair accessories are exceptionally well-executed.

The spiral and hollow three-dimensional twin-tail design is refreshing.
White small flowers adorn the hair, enriching the visual experience.

The paint application on the clothing is truly impeccable.

Strawberry Fork
In terms of size, it's perfectly usable if a buyer wishes to use it themselves.

The skirt is also flawless.
Despite such rich styling and colors, there isn't a single flaw to be found.

A thorough strawberry theme, even the shoes are included.

She's wearing short bloomers underneath, which will likely disappoint some.
The base is designed as a dessert plate.
Featuring strawberry macarons, with "15th Anniversary" written around the edge in chocolate sauce.

The manufacturer includes a support stand.

It is strongly recommended that fellow collectors who own this figure use this stand when displaying it.
As mentioned earlier, this Miku figure has considerable weight, and it's not in a normal two-footed standing pose.
Therefore, without the stand, the entire figure noticeably leans to one side, which could lead to an accident over time.
I specifically took comparison photos with and without the stand, so everyone can see the difference.

That concludes the introduction to the contents.
Those who love Hatsune Miku should consider acquiring this 15th Anniversary version; both its design and craftsmanship are top-tier.
Finally, let's conclude with the 10th and 15th Anniversary figures together.
