Japanese toy company RE-MENT, skilled at creating exquisite accessories and miniature models, yesterday (21st) announced a new DESKTOP COLLECTION series of desk accessories from "Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters"! Scheduled for release as blind box figures on May 31, 2024, there are a total of 6 types to collect, with a suggested retail price of 1,200 JPY per box.
On your desk, let the duel begin!
This adorable "Yu-Gi-Oh! DESKTOP COLLECTION" is based on three popular characters from the series: Yami Yugi, Seto Kaiba, and Joey Wheeler, along with their most iconic battle monsters: Dark Magician, Blue-Eyes White Dragon, and Red-Eyes Black Dragon. These mini-models combine practical functions (though some might be a bit trivial) and reinterpret the characters and battle monsters with a cute, chibi-style proportion. They include "Yami Yugi" with a Golden Sarcophagus that can store small items, a "Dark Magician" memo stand, "Seto Kaiba" with his seat that can temporarily hold small sticky notes, a "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" pen holder, a "Joey Wheeler" phone stand, and a "Red-Eyes Black Dragon" stamp holder.
