Following the release of various "Dragon" and "Wizard" soft vinyl toys in collaboration with Japanese illustrator Wakana Yamazaki, Japanese toy company Kenelephant (ケンエレファント) is set to release the mini-sized "Wakana Yamazaki THE DRAGON Figure Collection" in June 2024! Both gashapon and box set versions will be released simultaneously, with suggested retail prices of 500 and 550 Japanese Yen respectively.
Starting from the "17th Taipei Toy Festival (TTF 2020)", Kenelephant's collaboration with Wakana Yamazaki on the "Dragon" and "Wizard" soft vinyl toys has been one of the most eye-catching presences at the TTF venue. From the initial green dragon and purple-robed wizard, to subsequent glow-in-the-dark versions, various new colors, and custom versions that fully showcase Wakana Yamazaki's vibrant color charm, all have been excellent! This time, fellow toy enthusiasts can finally get their hands on Wakana Yamazaki's dragons at a very accessible price!
The "Wakana Yamazaki THE DRAGON Figure Collection" includes a total of four styles. The Green and Hot Pink correspond to the first and second color variations of the soft vinyl toys, while the yellow-toned Toy Star and the colorful mixed Cotton Candy are limited-edition colorways exclusive to this smaller-sized version. What's fantastic is that even though the dragons are mini, their heads, arms, and legs still feature articulation, allowing for cute poses. They'll be absolutely amazing for playing with and displaying alongside the soft vinyl figures, and we believe the wizard will make an appearance soon too.
