World-renowned Hong Kong toy brand Hot Toys yesterday (23rd) announced its latest creation from the Star Wars: Ahsoka series—the "Star Wars: Ahsoka Ahsoka Tano (Padawan)" 1/6th scale collectible figure, slated for release in Q1 to Q2 2025!
Star Wars: Ahsoka is based on the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels, telling the story of Ahsoka and her former apprentice Sabine Wren, who, five years after the Empire's collapse, embark on an investigation into Grand Admiral Thrawn's return and search for a way to find their former comrade Ezra Bridger.
This figure's design is based on Ahsoka's appearance in Star Wars: Ahsoka Episode 5, where, after being defeated by Baylan and falling into the sea, she enters a flashback sequence of the Clone Wars with her Master Anakin in the "World Between Worlds." This marks the first live-action portrayal of Ahsoka during her Padawan era on screen.
The specially designed body stands approximately 27 cm tall with 28 points of articulation, featuring seamless silicone arms to conceal the joints. The head sculpt meticulously recreates the delicate facial features of young Ahsoka's actress, Ariana Greenblatt, complete with movable eyeball design, capturing a youthful face with a determined gaze. The Togruta blue and white striped montrals and lekku are also newly sculpted, and when paired with the metallic headpiece, they present Ahsoka's unique aesthetic beauty.
The costume meticulously recreates her red sleeveless top, grey trousers, faux leather belt, and arm and leg wraps using a combination of different fabrics. Additionally, accessories include Ahsoka's LED light-up green lightsaber from her Padawan days, goggles, and a desert-themed display base, allowing collectors to follow Jedi Padawan Ahsoka and Master Anakin's footsteps back to the Clone Wars battlefield from the series!
