Following "Mikoto Misaka" and "Kuroko Shirai," Japanese model company Kaiyodo's popular action figure series "AMAZING YAMAGUCHI" has once again announced a new product based on the popular light novel "A Certain Scientific Railgun" – "Misaki Shokuhou Winter Uniform VER.", slated for release in November 2024.
"A Certain Scientific Railgun" is a Japanese light novel series written by Kazuma Kamachi and illustrated by Motoi Fuyukawa, which was adapted into an anime by Japanese animation studio J.C.STAFF. The story takes place in Academy City, a massive metropolis where over eighty percent of students undergo esper development courses, acquiring various superpowers through drugs, hypnosis, and other methods. At Tokiwadai Middle School, a prestigious institution within Academy City, there is an exceptionally powerful esper known as "Railgun," Mikoto Misaka, who, along with her junior and fellow Disciplinary Committee member Kuroko Shirai, becomes embroiled in various incidents occurring within Academy City while striving to protect the city's peace.
As a supporting character in "A Certain Scientific Railgun," Misaki Shokuhou is the leader of Tokiwadai Middle School's largest faction, known as the "Queen of Tokiwadai." She possesses the ability of "Mental Out," allowing her to read minds, brainwash, erase memories, create illusions, and perform telepathy, making her Academy City's strongest mental ability user and also the archenemy of protagonist Mikoto Misaka. Misaki Shokuhou has a tsundere and cunning personality, but is actually a kind-hearted girl, enjoying immense popularity among fans!
The "AMAZING YAMAGUCHI Misaki Shokuhou Winter Uniform VER." also features sculpting based on Tokiwadai Middle School's winter uniform from the anime. However, her fuller figure, distinct from Mikoto and Kuroko, is perfectly captured in the prototype's sculpt, with her thighs subtly spilling over her spiderweb over-the-knee stockings being a major highlight this time.
Accessories include Shokuhou's handbag, the remote control she uses to activate her abilities, three pairs of gloved interchangeable hands, and one pair of bare interchangeable hands. Furthermore, this release also includes an angry expression face part for Mikoto Misaka, adding more fun for collectors when posing and playing!
