Following the popular release of the 'Kirby' figure based on the beloved game 'Kirby's Dream Land,' GOOD SMILE COMPANY's affordable pre-painted figure series 'POP UP PARADE' in Japan is delighted to announce its latest product: the 'POP UP PARADE Kirby Car Mouthful Mode Ver.' PVC figure! With a suggested retail price of 3,900 JPY, it is scheduled for release in July 2024!
The protagonist of the game 'Kirby's Dream Land,' 'Kirby,' is a pink, unidentified lifeform approximately thirty centimeters tall, with a round, plump, and simple physique. He's a glutton who loves to eat! Possessing powerful inhaling abilities, he can swallow enemies whole and replicate their special powers, unleashing various moves. This image of being able to 'eat anything' contrasted with his adorable appearance has earned him the moniker 'Pink Demon.' In the latest installment of the series, 'Kirby and the Forgotten Land,' the 'Mouthful Mode' ability allows him to stuff cars, traffic cones, rings, vending machines, and more from the human world into his mouth, gaining a wider range of action abilities!
The 'POP UP PARADE Kirby Car Mouthful Mode Ver.' PVC figure stands approximately 7 cm tall, showcasing Kirby's incredibly elastic body as it envelops the car, faithfully recreating this memorably hilarious form! Not only does the upper part of the car feature Kirby's adorable eyes, blush, and limbs in their 'mouthful' state, but the exposed car chassis and tires underneath boast realistic rust and weathering paintwork. Coupled with a pull-back mechanism, you can enjoy watching the Kirby car zoom forward by simply pulling it back and releasing it!
