Hong Kong toy company STORM COLLECTIBLES, which has released numerous action figures of game and comic characters, is once again launching a new product based on the popular fighting game "Street Fighter 6" after "Luke" – the "Ryu" 1/12 scale action figure. The suggested retail price is US$85, with an estimated shipping date in Q4 2024!
Ryu is the protagonist of the "Street Fighter" series, a martial artist who constantly travels and trains himself in search of stronger opponents, learning the "Ansatsuken" (Assassination Fist) style. However, in previous installments, Ryu constantly struggled with the "Satsui no Hado" (Surge of Murderous Intent) within him, which, if uncontrolled, would lead him to lose all reason and become a ruthless killing machine. Now, Ryu has successfully overcome the "Satsui no Hado" and will continue to strive for greater heights.
This product presents Ryu's new image in "Street Fighter 6," where he has successfully suppressed the "Satsui no Hado." His kasaya (monk's robe) is rendered in fabric, and his facial beard accurately conveys the weathered look of a seasoned warrior. The torn edges of his pants and the straw sandals on his feet perfectly recreate Ryu's ronin-like aura in this installment. The exquisite sculpting of the prototype also reproduces Ryu's finely honed, muscular physique, exuding a powerful and awe-inspiring presence even in a simple standing pose!
Accessories include 3 interchangeable head sculpts, 5 pairs of interchangeable hands, and Ryu's most iconic "Hadoken" (Surge Fist) effect part and stand!
