Hong Kong toy manufacturer TOYS ALLIANCE recently announced two new products for its 3.75-inch sci-fi military-themed collectible series Acid Rain: "Hiodoshi" and "Akakarasu Wind 12 WDr". This article will provide product information for the "FAV-A111 Hiodoshi" 1/18 scale articulated figure.
Hiodoshi - "Keiji" is one of the commanders of the Yamato Special Assault Force: Akakarasu. He is a master of the ancient martial art Ittō-ryū, an expert in Yabusame (mounted archery), and an excellent pilot of the Wind light Synchro Mecha. During "Operation Shadow Nest," terrorists holding Pacific Logistics executives hostage had no intention of leaving alive. They filled the room with gas, preparing to perish with the incoming rescue personnel, aiming to create panic and cause Pacific Logistics to hold the Yamato government accountable for its reckless actions, thereby creating a rift between the two parties.
Keiji, who was given the urgent mission, quickly detected the terrorists' plot. Leading only a five-person squad, he broke through the encirclement, rescued the Pacific Logistics executives, and ensured they were unharmed. One of the rescued Pacific Logistics executives came from a family that had been an old acquaintance of Keiji's family, but they had lost contact as Keiji's family gradually declined. After this incident, they recognized Keiji's capabilities and believed that their family's fate would change, deciding to strongly support him.

This time, Hiodoshi Keiji's appearance features a dark red, black, and earthy color scheme. Common design elements with the Akakarasu unit can be found in many areas, such as the helmet's rear design, arm guards, and leg armor. The most distinctive features are the terrifying red mask, covered in dents and wrinkles, and the detachable white feathered cape. Accessories include a Katana, Kawa-style pistol, Hane-style combat dagger, and Firebird-style shotgun. Team up with the "Akakarasu Ashigaru", "Akakarasu Hazmat Ronin", and "Akakarasu Paratrooper", which will be released in August, to form a squad and deploy!
