Beloved and collected by many Saint Seiya fans and collectors, the "Saint Cloth Myth EX" series of products, launched by BANDAI SPIRITS' Collectors Division, will release the final Revival Version Gold Saint, Taurus "Aldebaran" (タウラスアルデバラン). It is scheduled for release in August 2024, priced at 24,200 JPY.
In the original work, Taurus Aldebaran, the Gold Saint, is a tall, powerful, and straightforward warrior. During the Twelve Temples Arc, to test the strength of Seiya and his companions, he deliberately allowed the four to pass by setting the condition of breaking his horn, but also warned them to be more careful in the future. His ultimate technique, "Great Horn," can crush enemies in a single blow. However, enemies who fought him deliberately avoided direct confrontation. In the manga, he was defeated by Siren Sorrento; in the anime's Poseidon Arc, he was defeated by Black Tiger Syd; and finally, in the Hades Arc, he was ambushed and killed by the Death Scent of Deep Niobe.
This Saint Cloth Myth EX Taurus Aldebaran Revival Version stands approximately 19 cm tall, making him slightly taller than other figures. For accessories, it includes special wrist parts to recreate poses such as arms crossed over the chest, holding the helmet, or unleashing the Great Horn. There are four interchangeable face parts: normal, shouting, laughing, and a deceased expression with shadowed eyes. Additionally, it comes with interchangeable long and short hair parts. Other accessories include a display stand, a broken horn for the helmet, and a cape.
