Playmates Toys recently announced on their official Instagram the upcoming release of a set of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figures, designed based on Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird's original sketches, set to launch in Summer 2024! Let's take a look!
In Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird's claimed first illustration of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the four Turtle brothers possessed a silhouette different from what we are familiar with, with their necks and limbs more closely resembling real turtles, a shorter, stockier build, and notably fierce expressions; these Playmates-crafted TMNT action figures are truly fantastic! Not only do they fully restore the Turtles' initial design characteristics, but their articulated joints allow them to strike battle poses similar to those in the first illustration. The four brothers are presented in their original classic color schemes, with visible brushstroke detailing on their bodies, along with their signature weapons and incredibly eye-catching feet – truly captivating! A must-buy! We eagerly await the full reveal.
