Japanese toy shopping website "amiami" (あみあみ) has partnered with HobbyJapan's figure brand "AMAKUNI" to release a limited-edition "Tatsumaki, the Terrible Tornado" 1/7 scale figure from the popular anime "One-Punch Man". The suggested retail price is 24,750 JPY, with an estimated release in August 2024!
The manga "One-Punch Man" (ワンパンマン), created by Japanese webcomic artist ONE, features superheroes as its theme. To prevent the continuous disasters caused by "Mysterious Beings" with supernatural powers, a certain wealthy individual established the "Hero Association," recruiting talented individuals from around the world to become professional heroes and combat these beings. Among the female characters who appear is "Tatsumaki," ranked S-Class Rank 2. She is the older sister of the B-Class Rank 1 hero "Fubuki, the Hellish Blizzard," and possesses an appearance that belies her age, looking like a young girl. She fights using psychic powers, capable of twisting opponents' limbs into a tornado shape, thus earning her the title "Tatsumaki, the Terrible Tornado."
The AMAKUNI "Tatsumaki, the Terrible Tornado" 1/7 scale figure stands approximately 26.5 cm tall. Transparent parts are utilized to create Tatsumaki's classic image of floating in the air using her psychic powers. Her face bears a cool, indifferent expression, looking down upon her enemies. Her distinctive green curly hair is painted with clear parts to reproduce a gradient effect, and her captivating green eyes are faithfully recreated. She wears her signature black slit long dress, which clings to her slender body, revealing her elegant figure. The flowing skirt conveys the lightness of Tatsumaki floating mid-air, boldly exposing her fair legs and a hint of her posterior. The overall sculpt is dynamic and captivating!
