Hong Kong toy manufacturer threezero, under its "SiXTH" series which produces 1/6 scale articulated figures based on characters from popular movies and TV series, has announced the re-release of a product themed after the popular game "Fallout" – the "T-51 Nuka-Cola Power Armor" 1/6 scale articulated figure. Unlike the previous "T-51 Power Armor: Nuka-Cola Armor Pack", this will be released as a complete articulated figure in Q3 2024!
The T-51 Power Armor addressed the issues of poor endurance and excessive bulkiness found in the T-45 armor. Its exterior design is simple and sleek, with armor made of composite materials allowing it to withstand more powerful impacts. The curved shell can also effectively reflect lasers and radiation, and its enclosed design enhances resistance to nuclear contamination, making it regarded as the finest power armor design before the war.
In terms of lore, the Nuka-Cola Power Armor design came about because the T-51 Power Armor, due to its excellent performance and achievements, gradually became a symbol of American strength. Thus, the Nuka-Cola Corporation used it as a marketing tool to promote its own products. In the game, this design provides players with +3 Agility and is exclusive to the T-51 Power Armor.
This "T-51 Nuka-Cola Power Armor" differs from the previous accessory pack version, being a complete 1/6 scale articulated figure. Armor parts can be magnetically attached to an inner skeletal body with 35 points of articulation, and the parts are also compatible with previous "Fallout" series products. threezero's high-quality painting techniques recreate the battle damage on the armor, with an effect slightly different from the version released seven years ago; from the official images, the overall sense of wear appears relatively lower, yet the logos and graphic details on the body maintain a very high standard.
Accessories include a replaceable male head sculpt, which can be interchanged with the helmet featuring an LED light-up function. Additionally, it comes with the iconic AER-9 Laser Rifle, allowing collectors to recreate the T-51 Nuka-Cola Power Armor's cool combat poses!
