Megahouse, a Japanese toy company, under its "G.E.M." line which brings to life numerous anime and manga characters, has launched the RUN!RUN!RUN! series based on "One Piece." After releasing "Luffy," "Zoro," and "Yamato," it has continued to release several PVC figures featuring the childhood appearances of other Straw Hat Pirates members and important characters. Today (the 6th), the 10th product in the series, the "Nami RUN!RUN!RUN!" PVC painted finished product, was announced. The suggested retail price is 7920 JPY, and it is expected to be released in late August 2024!
The RUN!RUN!RUN! series draws inspiration from the second ending theme song of the "One Piece" East Blue Saga, "RUN!RUN!RUN!" sung by Maki Otsuki, and the running scenes of the Straw Hat Pirates members in their childhood forms featured in the ending. It produces PVC figures of numerous One Piece characters in their childhood appearances. Previously, beloved characters such as Sanji, Robin, Ace, and Sabo were also released.
This "Nami RUN!RUN!RUN!" figure stands approximately 11 cm tall, faithfully recreating Nami's childhood appearance in a green dress and sandals. It dynamically captures Nami running through Cocoyasi Village, which is filled with orange trees. Her innocent smile combined with the forward-running pose is incredibly adorable! The head sculpt also retains the series' characteristic ball joint articulation, allowing collectors to rotate it and pose her with other characters according to their display needs!
The official announcement also states that the RUN!RUN!RUN! series will continue to release products, bringing more childhood versions of One Piece characters to this series. The 11th product is already in production, which is highly anticipated!
