American toy manufacturer NECA yesterday (07) unveiled several products during the Walmart Collector Con preview, an annual online event by the renowned US supermarket chain Walmart, set to launch next week. Among these was a toy based on the famous horror film series 驚聲尖叫 (Scream) — the "Ghost Face Inferno" 7-inch action figure. With a suggested retail price of US$34.99, it will be available for pre-order on the Walmart website starting March 15, 2024!
Ghost Face appears in the classic horror film series 驚聲尖叫 (Scream), with each installment featuring a killer wearing the Ghost Face mask. It is one of the key representative works that revived slasher films in the 90s and has become an icon of American popular culture. The "STAB" (also known as STAB 8) film-within-a-film from Scream 2022 has also gradually developed its own universe through the collective efforts of fans and enthusiasts.
This "Ghost Face Inferno" 7-inch action figure comes with multiple Ghost Face masks. In addition to the classic white Ghost Face, it includes the weathered mask from Scream 6, as well as the chrome-plated mask and demon mask from the STAB series. The weapon accessories are also quite diverse, with the biggest highlight being the flamethrower used by Ghost Face, as seen on Richie's computer in Scream 2022. The inclusion of flame effects truly captures the awe of the STAB fans depicted in the film!
