Japan's FuRyu company's popular prize figure series, "Noodle Stopper Figure" (ぬーどるストッパーフィギュア), is scheduled to release the character "Fern" (フェルン) from the popular work "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" in the 4th week of March 2024.
The work "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" (葬送のフリーレン), originally written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe, began serialization in "Weekly Shonen Sunday" in April 2020, with the anime adaptation starting to air in September 2023. As of December 2023, the cumulative circulation of its tankōbon volumes has exceeded 17 million copies. The story primarily describes the protagonist Frieren, an elven mage, who once defeated the Demon King with the hero Himmel and his party. After fulfilling a promise to watch fireworks again with her teammates 50 years later, she regretted not having actively engaged and understood human emotions during their short lifespans, following the passing of the hero Himmel. To seek the possibility of conversing with his soul, she embarked on a journey.
This Fern figure released by FuRyu measures approximately 16 cm in height and faithfully recreates her in a sitting pose. Fern has long purple hair and a smiling expression. Her sitting posture with hands on her lap looks elegant and serene, creating a wonderful atmosphere even when placed in a scene other than on instant noodles for photos.
