British collectibles company First 4 Figures, known for releasing a wide variety of statues based on video game characters, is scheduled to launch a statue of Alucard, the protagonist from KONAMI's classic action game "Castlevania: Symphony of the Night", in the second quarter of 2025.
Players familiar with the Castlevania series will surely know that the pinnacle of the entire franchise is none other than 1997's "Castlevania: Symphony of the Night" (悪魔城ドラキュラX 月下の夜想曲). This title brought the Castlevania series to a whole new level and established a milestone for 2D action games. It abandoned the traditional stage-based structure in favor of exploration across a vast map and combined it with RPG elements, greatly enriching the overall gameplay experience. It is a classic in the hearts of many and remains incredibly popular to this day.
Alucard (アルカード, his name being "Dracula" spelled backward) is the well-known protagonist of the classic masterpiece "Castlevania: Symphony of the Night". Although he first appeared in the Famicom/NES era in "Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse", his appearance in Symphony of the Night presented a much more stylish image. As a dhampir (half-human, half-vampire), he is skilled with weapons such as swords, possesses various transformation abilities similar to his father's, and holds a heart of justice aligned with humanity. He is an immensely popular character and later appeared in the Castlevania animated series on Netflix.
This Alucard statue from First 4 Figures is crafted in 1/7 scale, standing approximately 30 cm tall. It is based on Alucard's dynamic dash attack pose, with his right hand swinging his sword. The details on his body are meticulously recreated, including Alucard's flowing long hair, his cool yet determined expression, and his noble, exquisitely detailed attire—from the aristocratic coat, inner vest, leather accessories, and gold trim to the form-fitting trousers and tall boots. Paired with a base adorned with smoke effects, the entire piece exudes a powerful sense of motion.
