MODEROID "Madō King Granzort" Musha Metal Assembly Model Kit

Japan's GOODSMILE COMPANY's assembly model kit series "MODEROID" will release an assembly model kit of the enemy character mecha "Musha Metal" (武者メタル) from the classic work "Madō King Granzort" (魔動王グランゾート) in October 2024! Priced at 5,500 Japanese Yen.

Almost a shared childhood memory for many born in the 60s and 70s, "Madō King Granzort" was produced by Japan's SUNRISE, airing from April 1989 for a total of 41 episodes. Hajime Yatate and Oji Hiroi served as producers. In Taiwan, it was first broadcast by TTV in 1990 under the name "Da Wu Di," and later by CTV and Chung Tu Cartoon Channel under the name "Super Wu Di Wang." The overall cartoon style was similar to "Mashin Hero Wataru," focusing on robot battles, combined with cute and magical fantasy elements, which captivated many children.

This Musha Metal (武者メタル) in the series was piloted by a mysterious bounty hunter, "Black Musha" (whose true identity is Rabi's mother). He was entirely covered in black armor and a helmet mask, but his long golden hair could be seen. Unlike other common grunt units, this Musha Metal, apart from its appearance, had no ranged weapons, only being equipped with swords.

This MODEROID Musha Metal faithfully recreates its appearance from the original work, capable of transforming into both its Big Face Mode and Robot Battle Mode, standing approximately 12 cm tall. Weaponry includes two swords, interchangeable hand parts, and a dedicated display stand featuring a special magic circle design.
