Hong Kong artist Little Thunder collaborates for the first time with AllRightsReserved's collectible platform DDT Store to release her first limited-time pre-order sculpture and print collectible, "NOSEBLEED GIRL."
From a young age, Little Thunder was influenced by her father, an ink painter, which inspired her to begin self-learning art and embark on her creative journey at the age of 8, starting to explore the world of manga style. Little Thunder's works often revolve around themes of femininity, sensibility, and humor, skillfully blending fantastical scenes with everyday environments. Coupled with her unique delicate painting style, she has garnered numerous supporters worldwide, with her Instagram social platform boasting over 1 million followers.
Little Thunder shared: "I am thrilled to unveil my first sculpture work, 'NOSEBLEED GIRL,' after many years of creating flat art. It took over a year of collaboration with DDT Store to bring 'NOSEBLEED GIRL' to everyone." "NOSEBLEED GIRL" includes one sculpture and one Giclée Print – each sculpture stands 6 inches tall; the Giclée Print measures 15 inches long x 13 inches wide, and each piece comes with the artist's signature and an individual serial number.
The main inspiration for this work comes from the artist's childhood experience – during an exam, she suddenly had a nosebleed, and the bright red blood continuously stained the black and white test paper, creating a rather messy scene. However, this particular scene deeply fascinated her, leading her to periodically draw girls with nosebleeds since 2016.
Through this collectible, the artist hopes to invite viewers to explore the emotions behind the work and delve into the different stories and complex feelings behind each "Nosebleed Girl." The "NOSEBLEED GIRL" sculpture and print collectible will be available for 48 hours starting March 15th (Friday) at 11 AM (Hong Kong Time) on DDT Store, ensuring collectors have the opportunity to acquire her first three-dimensional sculpture and latest Giclée print.
