American exquisite playing card designer and manufacturer theory11, capitalizing on the buzz surrounding the release of "Dune: Part Two," recently unveiled its collectible playing cards themed around "Dune"! They are currently available for purchase on the theory11 official website, with a suggested retail price of US$12.95.
The packaging box for these "Dune Playing Cards" is designed with a stillsuit theme, creating rich layers and exquisite details. It incorporates the "DUNE" logo and the theory11 brand lettering, along with an overall black and gold aesthetic and intricate illustrations, exuding a first-class texture and feel.
The card faces feature familiar characters including Paul Atreides (Jack of Hearts), Chani (Queen of Diamonds), Duke Leto Atreides (King of Hearts), and more. What I personally find quite fascinating is the design of the Joker cards; as Jokers can turn the tide of a game or potentially ruin everything, a Shai-Hulud (Sandworm) theme is truly fitting! The playing cards are made from FSC-certified paper and vegetable-based inks, and are manufactured in the USA.
