Following "Ichiban Kasuga -Fierce Battle-", M.I.C. Co., Ltd. (株式会社エムアイシー), a Japanese company, has once again launched a new product under its original toy brand "DIG" (ディーアイジー) and its "DIGSTA" series, based on SEGA's popular game "Like a Dragon". The "Kazuma Kiryu -Fierce Battle-" PVC figure has a suggested retail price of 9,460 JPY and is scheduled for release in September 2024!

The popular yakuza-themed game series "Like a Dragon", published by SEGA, tells stories revolving around various events of Japanese yakuza crime syndicates. Since its debut in 2005, over a dozen titles have been released, with the latest installment, "Like a Dragon 8", announced this January. The series' protagonist, Kazuma Kiryu, is a man who lives by his principles, possesses a strong sense of justice, and is born for righteousness. His personality and strength to take on a hundred men have earned him multiple titles such as "Dragon of Dojima", "Legendary Dragon", and "Fourth Chairman of the Tojo Clan". After the "Ten Billion Yen Incident", he became known as a legendary yakuza. Kazuma Kiryu also returns in "Like a Dragon 8", serving as one of the dual protagonists alongside Ichiban Kasuga.

This "Kazuma Kiryu -Fierce Battle-" PVC figure stands approximately 175mm tall. Similar to the previous Ichiban Kasuga figure, Kazuma Kiryu in this "-Fierce Battle-" rendition is depicted bare-chested. Digital modeling has been used to meticulously recreate Kiryu's muscular physique from the game, and the ancient "Ouryu" (Winged Dragon) tattoo, inked by tattoo artist Utabori on his back, is faithfully reproduced in intricate detail. His fierce gaze exudes intense bloodlust, and even his standing pose conveys the formidable presence of the legendary yakuza!
