Playmates Toys' "Mutations Mix 'N Match" series of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figures, which allows for the disassembly and reassembly of limbs, has been exclusively announced on Paramount Global's entertainment news website ComicBook.com. This new series of products is themed after "Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" (tentative translation), which is set to begin airing this summer. Each figure has a suggested retail price of US$9.99 and is expected to be released in August 2024!
Last year's animated film "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem" presented us with the origin story of the four turtles, looking younger and more vibrant, with its unique art style. Now, the 2D animated series "Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," which tells various events that unfold after the movie, is set to launch this summer on the streaming platform Paramount+!
This product line features a total of 8 characters, including the familiar Ninja Turtles "Leonardo," "Raphael," "Michelangelo," and "Donatello," their master "Splinter," the robotic turtle "Metalhead" created by Donatello, and two robot villains, "Mechazoid" and "Bishop in Mech." Each figure features five points of articulation throughout its body, and the biggest highlight is the "Mutations Mix 'N Match" series' limb-swapping mechanism, which allows for interchanging limbs among characters to create even more mutant variations!
