Japanese model manufacturer GOOD SMILE COMPANY's mechanical-themed brand MECHA SMILE, under its completed combining toy series "THE GATTAI," will release a themed product from the Brave Series work "The Brave Fighter of Sun," titled "THE GATTAI Fighbird"! The suggested retail price is 24,500 JPY, with an estimated release in February 2025.
The "THE GATTAI Fighbird" completed combining toy includes Fighbird's Fire Jet and the support fighter Flame Breaker; the Fire Jet can perfectly recreate its jet form and transform into Fighbird's robot form, combining with Flame Breaker for an armored combination! When armored as Fighbird, it stands approximately 250 mm tall, with articulated designs in all parts. Paired with the Flame Sword and interchangeable hands, you can enjoy dynamic poses from the show! The Flame Sword can be stored inside the folded Fire Jet nose cone on its back, and faithfully recreates in-show designs such as the expanding guard mechanism.
The approximately 20mm tall "Yutaro Hoshino" android form figure can transform into Fighbird's core chest form for combination, and can also be placed inside the cockpit.
The Fire Jet's cockpit uses clear parts. The landing gear can be deployed for taxiing without needing to replace parts.
The two Flame Cannons on Flame Breaker are articulated and extendable. Additionally, there's an original toy mechanism for combining with the Fire Jet. The "Fire Blasters" on the arms and "Flame Missiles" on the legs can also be deployed in robot mode, and when armored combined, the deployable Flame Cannons recreate the "Full Blast" special move state!!
