Mattel Creations, the online collector platform under the renowned American toy company Mattel that actively collaborates with fans and creators, is set to host a two-day online new product reveal event, "Mattel Creations Revealed," from March 21 to 22 (US time). Today (19), they preemptively unveiled the latest product from the "Masters of the Universe" series—"Sy-Klone." With a suggested retail price of US$53, it is scheduled for exclusive sale on the Mattel Creations official website starting March 21, 2024, at 11:15 AM Pacific Time!
Sy-Klone is the last guardian of the Gar people and a member of the heroic warriors, having made brief cameo appearances in two episodes of the classic 1983 animated series. Sy-Klone's body has been mechanically modified, granting his torso and limbs the ability to spin at high speeds to create cyclones, allowing him to fly through the air and strike down enemies.
This Sy-Klone figure stands approximately 5.5 inches tall, crafted as a faithful recreation of the original 1985 Mattel toy. It features newly added detachable disk-shaped flight wings and a shield as weapons. The cyclone radar on his chest, used to anticipate enemy positions, faithfully reproduces the pixelated style of yesteryear and utilizes lenticular technology to create a dynamic visual effect. For the first time, cyclone effect parts will also be included for his hands, allowing him to display his powerful cyclone superpowers! The product design also restores the 1985 spinning mechanism, enabling Sy-Klone to rotate 360 degrees via a button on his waist to generate cyclones and defeat powerful incoming enemies!
