Following the "AM Shooter", the 'HG (High Grade)' robot model kit series from Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS HOBBY Division today announced that a new model from "Super Robot Wars OG", the "Huckebein Boxer", is currently in development, with a release date yet to be determined.
The original unit Huckebein Mk-III, appearing in the "Super Robot Wars OG" series, is a successor unit developed from the Huckebein Mk-II, conceived with the concept of a "miniaturized, high-performance SRX". In addition to being equipped with the same "T-LINK System" and "Uranus System" as the R-1, it also features the same "Tronium Engine" as the SRX, allowing its pilot to unleash abilities surpassing the SRX through their powerful psychokinesis. For weaponry, it not only inherits the Huckebein series' Photon Rifle and Graviton Rifle but can also be reconfigured via the "AM Enhanced Armor Module" into the "Huckebein Boxer" for enhanced melee combat or the "Huckebein Shooter" for enhanced flight and shooting capabilities.
As expected of the Huckebein series, Bandai's "favorite child" with a Gundam-like face, the significantly larger "Huckebein Boxer" is now also slated for a PREMIUM BANDAI exclusive release. One can anticipate the impressive size and articulation performance brought by its massive arms and legs, reminiscent of the SRX.
