Japanese brand GOOD SMILE COMPANY's affordable pre-painted PVC figure series, POP UP PARADE L Size, has announced a new product based on the popular anime and manga "The Seven Deadly Sins" – the "The Seven Deadly Sins: Dragon's Judgement Escanor L Size" pre-painted PVC figure. It will have a suggested retail price of 8,800 JPY and is scheduled for release in October 2024!
"The Seven Deadly Sins" is a manga series created by Japanese manga artist Nakaba Suzuki, which was adapted into an anime by A-1 Pictures and began airing in 2014. Escanor is the Sin of Pride among the "Seven Deadly Sins" knight order, possessing the magic "Sunshine." When exposed to sunlight, his personality and abilities increase with the sun's ascent, reaching an invincible state of "The One" for one minute at high noon. Despite being the powerful Sin of Pride, his immense gentleness towards his comrades creates a contrasting personality that has garnered him countless fans!
This Escanor figure stands at a total height of 23 cm, showcasing Escanor's daytime form. The sculpting faithfully recreates his impossibly muscular physique, with painted shading effects enhancing the powerful aura emanating from his robust build. The lion tattoo on his back is also accurately reproduced. Escanor is depicted in a relaxed pose, effortlessly wielding his divine axe, "Rhitta," gazing down at everyone with a disdainful yet supremely confident expression, allowing one to feel his awe-inspiring and formidable pride!
This product is also part of the POP UP PARADE series released for "The Seven Deadly Sins" anime's fourth season, "Dragon's Judgement." Displaying it alongside other members of the Seven Deadly Sins will showcase the undeniable presence of this strongest knight order!
