Japan's GOOD SMILE COMPANY, under its popular "Nendoroid" series with over a thousand different figures, has announced the latest product from the anime "Mashle: Muscles and Magic": "Nendoroid Mash Burnedead". The suggested retail price is 6,200 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in April 2024.
The Japanese manga series "Mashle: Muscles and Magic", which heavily references "Harry Potter", tells the story of a magic world where social status is determined by one's magical prowess. The young boy "Mash Burnedead", unable to use magic and lacking a facial mark, is hidden away in the mountains by his adoptive father. He protects himself through relentless muscle training. However, Mash, who has put all his skill points into muscles, possesses power so immense it can shatter magic itself? To live a normal life, he aims to become a Divine Visionary and enrolls in Easton Magic Academy.
The "Nendoroid Mash Burnedead" stands approximately 10 cm tall, adorably recreating Mash's mushroom haircut and his stoic appearance in his magic robe! It comes with three interchangeable face plates: a "calm face" with no expression, a "chubby face" for eating, and a "flustered face" with sweat. Paired with accessories like dumbbells, his beloved cream puffs, a magic wand broken with one hand, and a sword effect part for rapid running, you can recreate cool and hilarious scenes from the series! Furthermore, as the anime's second season's super captivating opening theme "Bling-Bang-Bang-Born" swept the globe, additional accessories were revealed before release: clenched fists (left/right) and a bent leg (left), instantly bringing the sound to life!
