Hasbro, the renowned American toy brand, has announced a new product under its Star Wars The Black Series line: the "Moff Gideon" Electronic Helmet, inspired by the popular Star Wars spin-off series The Mandalorian. The suggested retail price is US$99.99, with an estimated release in January 2025!
Portrayed by Giancarlo Esposito, also known as "Gus Fring," Moff Gideon is the primary antagonist of The Mandalorian series. He is a leader of the Galactic Empire's remnant forces, a former agent of the Imperial Security Bureau's secret intelligence division, and participated in the purge of Mandalore. After the Empire's fall, he sought to use Grogu's blood to create clones and restore the Empire.
This product faithfully recreates the helmet worn by Moff Gideon in his final appearance in Season 3, Episode 7. Modeled after a Mandalorian Beskar steel helmet, its glossy black and red finish, along with the pointed horns on top (a homage to the Sith Lord Darth Maul), perfectly convey the oppressive presence of this former Imperial leader. The T-shaped visor on the front features a red light-up effect, offering both wear and display modes. The interior includes padding and an adjustable mechanism, allowing fans to comfortably wear it and embody Gideon's sinister on-screen persona!
