Following the release of "Flashpoint Batman" and "Psycho-Pirate" based on DC Batman comics, Japanese high-end statue manufacturer Prime 1 Studio's "Throne Legacy" (スローンレガシー) product line has unveiled its latest masterpiece from 'City of Bane': the "Bane on Throne Concept Design by Carlos D'Anda" 1/4 scale full body statue! Both a Regular Version and a DX Bonus Version will be released simultaneously, with an estimated shipping period from June to September 2025, priced at ¥263,780 and ¥276,650 (tax included) respectively.
In the Batman comic story 'City of Bane', Gotham City falls into Bane's hands. Villains including The Joker, The Riddler, Hugo Strange, and Firefly, due to Psycho-Pirate's ability to manipulate emotions, protect Gotham City in their own ways. Flashpoint Batman even collaborates with Bane, aiming to make Bruce Wayne give up being Batman....
This piece stands approximately 61 cm tall, depicting Bane in a commanding pose, seated on his throne, leaning slightly forward, with his left hand resting on the armrest. Beyond appreciating P1S's meticulous sculpting artistry in Bane's physique, equipment, and the fluorescent green tubes and injection devices flowing with Venom, Bane's massive, rock-like body exudes intense pressure. The steel throne, crafted from numerous scrap metal parts, pipes, and damaged objects, is another major highlight. This P1S-designed base not only evokes the chaotic atmosphere of Peña Dura, the prison where Bane was born, but the destroyed Bat-Signal visible on the back further emphasizes the immense crisis Batman faces in this story.
▼ A close-up of the upper body further reveals the incredibly unscientific muscularity.
▼ The DX Version will include additional interchangeable head sculpts and a head stand.
▼ Purchases made through the Prime 1 Studio official store will receive an exclusive bonus head sculpt.
