Following the recently announced "71046 LEGO Minifigures Series 26", the Danish LEGO toy company has once again unveiled two new space-themed sets scheduled for release on May 1, 2024: the "40715 Alien Pack" and the "40716 Alien Planet Habitat"! Both sets have a suggested retail price of US$14.99.
These two products share a high degree of similarity, though 40715 focuses on the construction of alien life. It uses various green and pink parts to build aliens of different shapes, and each alien comes with either a 1x1 round printed tile or an arc-shaped printed tile. Not only can you build them according to the official designs, but creating your own unique alien characters is also highly encouraged! Additionally, 40715 includes a retro astronaut in a white spacesuit.
Although the other set, 40716, uses most of its parts to build a colorful habitat, it still includes three aliens. If your budget allows, you can definitely buy both sets together to play with alongside previous space-themed sets from the City and Friends series, creating an even more complete outer space exploration scene.
