Queen Studios, a sculpting brand adept at showcasing character charm through large-scale statues, recently unveiled a new Marvel-themed release for its "COMIC QUEEN" series: the "Spider-Man vs Venom" 1/4 scale full body statue. Both a Regular Edition and a Premium Edition will be released simultaneously, with an estimated shipping start in Q1 2025. The suggested retail prices are RMB 9,880 and RMB 11,880, respectively.
The "Spider-Man vs Venom" statue, which captures the classic MARVEL archenemy duo, stands approximately 76 cm tall. It was collaboratively created by the Queen Studios production team with Emiliano Calderon and Erick Sosa. Emiliano Calderon was responsible for sculpting Spider-Man, while Erick Sosa sculpted the massive and imposing Venom. Spider-Man's body is depicted in a classic crouching pose, with the muscle definition beneath his suit vividly sculpted. Behind Peter, the heavily oppressive presence of Venom is an incredibly exaggerated sight. His superhumanly muscular physique, an unmissable gaping maw with a wild tongue, biologically realistic cloudy white eyes, and the symbiotic textures covering his body are all astonishing.
Perhaps because Spider-Man and Venom's sculpts were handled by two different individuals, even their bases are separate. If displayed as shown in the official images, it can depict a fierce battle with Venom suddenly appearing behind Spider-Man. This front-and-back arrangement also seems to suggest the two working together to fend off a powerful enemy. Of course, thanks to their independent nature, they can also be posed facing each other in a direct confrontation, offering a different sense of immediacy than the official images.
▼ The Premium Edition will include multiple interchangeable head sculpts, greatly enhancing display versatility.
