Japanese toy company Kenelephant (ケンエレファント) is releasing a new product, the "Tsuburaya Productions Tokusatsu Hero Mini Soft Vinyl Ball Chain Mascot," featuring various classic tokusatsu heroes from "Tsuburaya Productions Co., Ltd.," the video production company known for creating numerous tokusatsu hero series such as "Ultraman." It will be available in both blind box and gashapon formats, with a reference price of 550 JPY per blind box and 500 JPY per gashapon capsule, slated for release in mid-April 2024!
"Tsuburaya Productions Co., Ltd." (円谷プロダクション), established in 1963, is a subsidiary specifically founded by Tsuburaya Fields Holdings to produce tokusatsu visual works. Since 1966, it has released numerous tokusatsu works familiar to fans, such as "Ultra Q," the "Ultraman" series, and "Kaiju Booska"!
This product line features 5 mini soft vinyl ball chain mascots based on multiple tokusatsu hero works released by Tsuburaya Productions in the 1970s. These include "Mirrorman" (ミラーマン), "Fireman" (ファイヤーマン), "Jumborg Ace" (ジャンボーグ A), "Jumborg 9" (ジャンボーグ 9), and "Dinosaur Great War Izenborg" (アイゼンボーグ). The packaging replicates the bagged soft vinyl toys of the Showa era, and each hero's soft vinyl toy appearance is reproduced in a mini size, smaller than the palm of a hand. Each mini figure can be removed from its packaging, allowing you to relive the joy of taking out your soft vinyl heroes!
