The "Mecha Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" series, launched by Snap Finger Animation and HEATBOYS Fire Boy Animation in collaboration with Taiwanese illustrator "Grass God," following "Leonardo" and "Michelangelo," last year announced the release of a new addition, "Raphael", with a suggested retail price of US$209.99, slated for release in September 2024!
The second unit in the Mecha Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series—"Mecha Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Raphael"—stands at the same height of 23 cm as his two previously released brothers and features Raphael's iconic red and green color scheme applied to its various weapons and parts. Its entire body incorporates the most intricate mecha design in the series to date, making it the most complex in terms of both part count and paint application! This iteration of Raphael's design differs slightly from the previous two units, with a replaceable head part featuring a design reminiscent of an American football helmet's protective gear. All of its weapon accessories are primarily designed for close combat, including paired melee weapons such as "Metal Power Arms," "Drill Energy Beam Cannons," "Combat Claws," and "Multi-functional Combat Gauntlets." Furthermore, Raphael's signature weapon, the "Sai," is naturally included, along with a pair of ranged weapons, the "Revolver Launchers," allowing Mecha Raphael to maintain a certain degree of long-range attack capability while excelling in close combat!
Beyond equipping all weapon accessories onto Mecha Raphael to make him look incredibly cool, many weapons can also be interchanged and combined between the combat gauntlets and the main body for play, creating a wide variety of forms for Mecha Raphael! The drill energy beam cannons equipped on the shoulders can even spread outwards, switching from drill mode to beam cannon mode, and with the LED light-up feature, Mecha Raphael emanates a powerful presence in the dark!
