RE-MENT, a Japanese toy company skilled in producing various miniature models, will release a new product based on the popular anime "Crayon Shin-chan" — the "Crayon Shin-chan Kindergarten Bus, Let's Go, Pickled Eggplant!" blind box toy. The suggested retail price is 990 JPY per box, and it is scheduled for release on July 29, 2024!
This time, RE-MENT uses Shin-chan's playful pun catchphrase "Let's Go, Pickled Eggplant!" (Shuppatsu Oshinko~!) as the title, featuring six characters sitting in the Futaba Kindergarten bus: Shin-chan, Kazama, Nene, Masao, Bo, and the Principal, recreating each character's kindergarten attire. Each character holds a small flag printed with a representative symbol: Shin-chan's "Action Mask," Kazama's "Cute P," Nene's "Rabbit Doll," Masao's "Ai-chan," and Bo's "Stone." The Principal's flag, on the other hand, features the symbol of the "Sunflower" class, where the Kasukabe Defense Force belongs. There are various incredibly cute little details!
The front part of the bus can also be detached, allowing multiple buses to be combined into a train, letting all the characters set off together, "Let's Go, Pickled Eggplant!"
