Japan's Furyu Corporation (フリュー株式会社), which operates various entertainment businesses, has announced a new product in its affordable TENITOL figure series: a pre-painted figure of "Sesshomaru" from the classic anime "Inuyasha." The suggested retail price is 7,480 JPY, with an estimated release in October 2024!

"Inuyasha" is a manga series created by Japanese manga artist Rumiko Takahashi, which was adapted into a TV anime by Sunrise in 2000. The story follows the protagonist, Kagome Higurashi, who is dragged into a dried-up well at a shrine by the demoness Mistress Centipede and transported 500 years into Japan's Sengoku period. There, she encounters the half-demon "Inuyasha," and later befriends companions such as the monk Miroku, the demon slayer Sango, the two-tailed demon cat Kirara, and the young fox demon Shippo. Together, they embark on a journey to confront their arch-nemesis Naraku while searching for fragments of the Shikon Jewel. In the series, Sesshomaru is Inuyasha's older half-brother and one of Inuyasha's sworn enemies. His taciturn and cold demeanor, contrasted with moments of kindness, along with his handsome appearance, has captivated a multitude of fans!

This TENITOL Sesshomaru figure stands approximately 20 cm tall, faithfully recreating Sesshomaru's magnificent appearance from the series. It captures him in a dynamic pose, holding his sword, with a resolute gaze fixed in one direction. The entire figure is painted in gentle shades of pale purple and white, with the chest armor rendered in a pale purple pearlescent finish to evoke a metallic texture. The base features purple effect parts around Sesshomaru's feet, depicting him as if he has just unleashed an attack under the moonlight, creating an atmosphere that is both stern and exquisitely beautiful!
