Following the release of "Akane Shinjo," emerging model manufacturer annulus has once again announced its latest product under its plastic model kit series, based on the movie "GRIDMAN UNIVERSE": the "Akane Shinjo (New Order) Articulated Plastic Model Kit." It has a suggested retail price of 5,940 JPY and is scheduled for release in August 2024.
The theatrical anime film derived from Tsuburaya Productions' tokusatsu series "Denkou Choujin Gridman," "GRIDMAN UNIVERSE (グリッドマン ユニバース)," returns to the setting of "SSSS.GRIDMAN": the computer world "Tsutsujidai" where protagonists Yuta, Rikka, and others live, and brings together main characters such as Yomogi and Yume from the sequel "SSSS.DYNAZENON" for a dream collaboration! After Akane Shinjo, who created monsters, returned to the real world, daily life should have returned to peace. However, due to the convergence of multiple universes, mysterious monsters reappear, forcing the GRIDMAN Alliance to reassemble!
The "annulus Akane Shinjo (New Order) Articulated Plastic Model Kit" stands approximately 15 cm tall upon completion. Based on her new design from the movie, the intricate costume design is reproduced with color separation, and natural details are recreated in areas such as the skirt's lines and the meticulously designed top. To minimize impact on articulation, the cape is made of flexible material and can be used separately for different purposes such as painting or posing. It includes three pre-painted face parts: "smiling face," "shouting face," and "blushing face." Additionally, three unpainted face parts are included, which can be customized using the included mini decal stickers for expressions.
It also comes with a dedicated three-dimensional clear display base part, inspired by Akane's appearance scene in the film. The product's outer box also features brand-new illustrations specially drawn by animation studio TRIGGER for this product!
