The manga series "Kaiju No. 8," created by manga artist Naoya Matsumoto, began serialization in July 2020 on Shueisha's online manga platform Shonen Jump+. It achieved an astonishing total of over 30 million views within three months and 100 million views within one year, setting a platform record! The story is set in Japan, a country frequently invaded by kaiju. The protagonist, Kafka Hibino, who aspired to join the Defense Force and eliminate all kaiju since childhood, gave up on his dream after repeatedly failing the entrance exams as an adult, turning instead to post-mortem kaiju cleanup. However, in an unexpected incident, Kafka was invaded by a mysterious creature, causing his body to mutate into the "Kaiju No. 8," a being that must be subjugated...
The "Nendoroid Kafka Hibino" articulated figure stands approximately 10 cm tall. It faithfully recreates Kafka's appearance in his Defense Force uniform with adorable proportions, meticulously detailing the battle suit's armor, logo, and waist bag. It comes with three interchangeable face plates: a "serious face," a "shouting face," and a thick-skinned "comical face." Paired with accessories such as a "pistol" and a "Defense Force mask," you can enjoy posing him ready for battle to subjugate kaiju! Furthermore, more "Nendoroid Kaiju No. 8 series" figures will be released sequentially~
