Bandai's GASHAPON capsule toy division is launching a new product based on the classic anime "Sgt. Frog" – the "Sgt. Frog Marker Charms, Sir!" Gashapon. The suggested retail price is 300 JPY per capsule, with an anticipated release in late August 2024!
"Sgt. Frog" (ケロロ軍曹) is a monthly manga series created by Japanese manga artist Mine Yoshizaki, which was adapted into a TV anime by Sunrise in 2004. The story follows alien invaders from "Planet Keron" who dispatch Sgt. Keroro and his squad for reconnaissance. However, the Sergeant's infiltration of the Hinata household is exposed, leading the invasion headquarters to deem the situation too risky and promptly withdraw from Earth, leaving Keroro and his team behind to embark on a boisterous comedic daily life at the Hinata residence.
GASHAPON's marker charm series features a rubber ring attached to the charm, allowing it to be slipped onto items like umbrellas for identification, preventing mix-ups! This "Sgt. Frog Marker Charms, Sir!" collection features five members of the Keroro Platoon: "Sgt. Keroro," "Private Tamama," "Corporal Giroro," "Sergeant Major Kururu," and "Lance Corporal Dororo." Made from transparent PVC material and meticulously painted to recreate each character's appearance, with the Keroro team guarding your umbrellas, you won't have to worry about losing them, right? Probably!
