Japanese figure manufacturer quesQ (キューズＱ), known for its popular "Changing Mode (お着替えmode)" series, will release the "Sophie Neuenmuller Changing Mode" 1/7 scale figure, based on the popular game "Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book." The suggested retail price is 21,780 JPY, with an anticipated release in April 2025!
The protagonist of "Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book," Sophie Neuenmuller, is a cheerful girl living in the outskirts of the town "Kirchen Bell." She is passionate about the "alchemy" taught to her by her deceased grandmother, dedicating more effort to her studies than others, though her carelessness often leads to failure. One day, Sophie discovers a talking ancient book named "Plachta," and to help Plachta return to human form, Sophie resolves to rediscover lost alchemy.
The quesQ "Sophie Neuenmuller Changing Mode" 1/7 scale figure continues the series' theme of "changing scenarios," bringing game illustrator NOCO's artwork to life! Standing approximately 21 cm tall, the figure recreates Sophie's appearance after taking off her everyday dress, leaving her in her undergarments. Her pose, using clothes to cover her body and holding her staff in a ready stance, conveys a protesting mood of displeasure at the door being opened during her changing.
