Hasbro, the renowned American toy manufacturer, revealed several new products from its Marvel Legends 6-inch action figure series during an online livestream on Monday (the 15th) US time, set to be released soon. This time, we're bringing you the highlight product from the livestream's finale—the "Ghost Rider Danny Ketch." Detailed pricing and release date are yet to be announced, with pre-orders opening on the Hasbro Pulse official website starting April 30, 2024!
Danny Ketch is the third iteration of Ghost Rider, first appearing in Ghost Rider Vol. 3, Issue #1. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Danny and his sister Barbra were attacked one night by the villain Deathwatch. Danny fled to a junkyard, where he saw a strangely shaped motorcycle. The moment he touched it, he transformed into Ghost Rider, defeating Deathwatch, but was unable to save Barbra, who had fallen into a coma due to her injuries.
This "Ghost Rider Danny Ketch" immediately captivated all fans when the host unveiled it. The figure faithfully recreates the appearance of Danny Ketch's Ghost Rider costume, and the motorcycle also features a more modern design. It comes with multiple flame effects. The host explained that in addition to attaching to the front and rear wheels to simulate forward motion, there are also effect parts that can be attached to the bottom of the motorcycle to create a wheelie pose! The motorcycle's front fairing also replicates its comic book function of moving downwards to transform into battle mode. Paired with Danny Ketch wielding his flaming chain, it looks incredibly cool!
