The "DIGSTA" series, launched by DIG, a toy brand under Japan's M.I.C. company, has announced its latest product, the "Goro Majima -Fierce Battle-" PVC Figure, based on the popular game "Like a Dragon". It is priced at 9,460 JPY and is scheduled for release in October 2024.
Goro Majima, one of the protagonists of SEGA's Japanese yakuza-themed action game series "Like a Dragon", is an ultra-militant yakuza with a cruel, violent, and impulsive personality. He not only attacks enemies but, when enraged, will mercilessly turn on his own subordinates, earning him the moniker "The Mad Dog of Shimano"! He shares a decades-long close relationship with Kiryu, having been adversaries and allies, and is a long-time rival and comrade-in-arms with whom he has engaged in numerous deathmatches.
Following the "DIGSTA Goro Majima", this latest "Goro Majima -Fierce Battle-" PVC Figure continues the series' tradition, utilizing its proud digital modeling and digital transfer technology to faithfully recreate the Mad Dog of Shimano's facial expressions from the game. It reappears in a shirtless "-Fierce Battle-" pose! From the muscular chest extending to the arms and back, the iconic "Hannya" tattoo is meticulously reproduced. Compared to Kiryu Kazuma and Kasuga Ichiban from the same series, his skin tone is notably fair! Wielding his Demon Flame Dagger, the figure perfectly captures Goro Majima's masculine charm!
