When you think of the most rebellious, wild, and untamable character in the Marvel Universe, who comes to mind first? I believe we all have the same answer, don't we? That's right! It's the star of our show today—Wolverine!
In 1974, Wolverine made his debut as a guest character in "The Incredible Hulk" #181. The fact that this newcomer could single-handedly take on the fully-powered Hulk left an indelible impression on readers of that era. Soon after, Wolverine was brought into the X-Men comics the following year, becoming a member of the team. He gradually rose to prominence, becoming a fan favorite for countless readers.
▼Wolverine's famous debut, it all started with this issue!
From 1974 to 2024, over a span of fifty years, Marvel has told numerous stories about the past of this century-old, immortal mutant. His innate, near-immortal healing factor has helped him survive countless life-and-death situations, but it has also carved scar after scar into his heart. Despite suffering from brainwashing and memory loss more than once, all that remains for Wolverine, besides the Adamantium claws in his arms, is a deep-seated distrust of society. This forged the rebellious anti-hero we know and love. It's truly been a life shaped by fate, a poignant journey.
To commemorate Wolverine's 50th anniversary this year, the internationally renowned toy manufacturer Hasbro has launched four spectacular two-pack sets in its highly acclaimed "Marvel Legends" series. Featuring a 1:12 (6-inch) scale with a high degree of articulation, these figures perfectly recreate the vast array of character designs from the comics. The Marvel Legends series is truly the ultimate choice for fans collecting Marvel action figures. Now, let's dive into the exciting unboxing of these four two-pack sets!
▼The stars of today's review: four two-packs, for a total of eight figures.

▼The sides of the boxes feature character portraits by Marvel artists, making them easy for collectors to identify.

▼The top of the box is printed with the exclusive Wolverine 50th Anniversary logo!

▼"Wolverine" and "Sabretooth," a fated two-pack featuring lifelong nemeses. The back of the box showcases new artwork by artist Adam Kubert, paying homage to the cover of "Wolverine" #10 from 1989.

▼This version of Wolvie sports a casual, civilian outfit, complete with a stylish cowboy hat and a five-card poker hand accessory.

▼It includes two interchangeable head sculpts. Besides the different hats, the sideburns, mouth shape, and even the expressions are slightly different. The chest and arm hair are rendered with printing.

▼A highly versatile poker hand accessory. The back of the cards is printed with the word "XAVIER."

▼The texture on the shirt's surface is surprisingly detailed, making it great for both simple display and dynamic play!

▼It's worth noting that the claws this time are blade-shaped, a refreshing change from previous designs.

▼"Does a flush beat a full house, Bub?"

▼Sabretooth. While this isn't the first time Marvel Legends has released this classic look for Sabretooth, this two-pack version has been updated with a taller, more muscular body mold, significantly enhancing his overall presence and power.

▼It comes with two head sculpts, one with a menacing grin and the other a furious roar. The expressions can only be described as absolutely wild!

▼Playing with this large body mold is just pure satisfaction. It's a perfect match for Sabretooth's crazed expressions!

▼When enemies meet, sparks fly. The super-sharp adamantium claws are ready to strike!

▼An absolutely unmissable and fantastic set. Everyone should grab this one immediately!

▼"Wolverine" and "Lilandra Neramani." The back of the box features an illustration by artist Andy Kubert, paying homage to the cover of "The Uncanny X-Men" #234 from 1988.

▼This is Wolverine after being implanted with an alien Brood embryo. Although it uses an older mold, the new arms and head sculpt are excellent recreations, fully capturing the horror of this parasitic version.
▼The temporomandibular joint is articulated, making the gaping maw and ferocious blood-red eyes incredibly impactful.

▼Can't you almost hear the beastly roar?

▼This time, the set also includes a rare gripping hand with claws. It seems like it could be used with the previously released yellow and brown costume version?

▼Lilandra, queen of the Shi'ar Empire, one of the three major powers in the Marvel Universe. Besides her resounding title, she is also widely known as the former lover of Professor X. This figure marks the first "complete" release of her in the Marvel Legends line and includes her signature staff.

▼The exquisite head sculpt is recreated with printing. It looks like the old head that came with Mystique can finally be officially retired.

▼The cape drapes very naturally, and it interferes with the left arm much less than expected.

▼This figure really does justice to the queen, making her a definitive version. It's highly worth collecting!

▼"Wolverine" and "Psylocke." The back of the box features an illustration by artist John Guydo, paying homage to the cover of "The Uncanny X-Men" #256 from 1989.

▼Wolverine, this time in his agent attire from his time in Hong Kong to rescue Psylocke. The figure uses a new pinless body mold and, of course, features butterfly joints in the shoulders. The overall articulation is, needless to say, fantastic.

▼It includes two head sculpts: one serious and one with a confident, contemptuous smirk. Note the blue highlights applied to the hair with a gradient effect, perfectly capturing the look from the comics of that era.

▼The arm hair is also printed to enhance the visual effect, appearing more messy and wild than the version in the shirt.

▼The new body mold is both aesthetically pleasing and highly posable. It looks cool in any pose!

▼Psylocke, or should we call her... "Lady Mandarin"? In any case, this is Psylocke after her body was swapped by Spiral, losing her memory and being brainwashed into becoming the Mandarin's top assassin, so this villainous face is perfectly appropriate. This figure is a relatively rare release, so Psylocke fans should definitely not miss out!

▼It also comes with two head sculpts, both using printing to recreate Psylocke's delicate facial features. The crazed laughing expression with rolled-back eyes is particularly stunning.

▼Additionally, it includes a pair of differently styled effect parts that can be attached to her arms via C-clips.

▼Although the direction of the flowing hair doesn't match the cape, the dynamic effect of the sculpt is still commendable and looks great.

▼Of course, her signature psychic knife effect is also included.

▼Upon closer inspection, the armor has a distinct ancient Chinese style.

▼This two-pack is another fantastic offering. Both figures are excellently executed. It's time to get it!

▼"Patch" and "Joe Fixit," the largest set among the four two-packs. The back of the box features new artwork by artist Phil Noto, paying homage to the cover of "Wolverine" #8 from 1989.

▼Patch, Wolverine's alias and identity while hiding out at the Princess Bar in the criminal nation of Madripoor. He wears his namesake eyepatch and a rather striking white suit jacket. This is the first time Hasbro has released a figure of this look.

▼It also includes two head sculpts, recreating Logan's different appearances from the comics.

▼The body is also the new pinless version, so it looks great. It's a bit of a shame that it lacks butterfly joints due to the design, though...

▼Joe Fixit, the Grey Hulk persona that emerged when Bruce Banner was first exposed to gamma radiation. Compared to the brutish, power-focused green Hulk, Joe's personality is more cunning, intelligent, and also more sinister and cruel. This figure is based on his comic appearance, sporting a white suit from his time in Madripoor, just like Patch. However... seasoned Marvel Legends collectors will be very familiar with this body mold from Kingpin, right?

▼It also comes with two head sculpts, capturing Joe's serious and roaring expressions.

▼As mentioned, this body mold from the previous Kingpin BAF has an absolutely commanding size and presence. However, its articulation is somewhat lacking, making it more suitable for static standing poses.

▼"Cha~ Cha~~! (Crush)"

▼This intriguing combination of one small and one large, one short and one tall, is something fans have been waiting for a long time. To have them released together in a two-pack is a fantastic deal. If you like them, be sure to bring them home soon!

▼And that concludes our unboxing of the four Marvel Legends Wolverine 50th Anniversary two-packs. With such a popular character like Wolvie, how many more of his looks have yet to be made into figures? That's a tough question to ponder. In any case, let's continue to look forward to more and cooler versions being released as figures! See you at the next unboxing!
