American collectible brand Numskull Designs' "TUBBZ" toy series, which transforms characters from major films, anime, manga, and video games into rubber ducks, has announced its latest product from The Lord of the Rings: "Treebeard"! Expected to ship by the end of May 2024, with a suggested retail price of US$99.99.
Treebeard, the oldest Ent in The Lord of the Rings story and master of Fangorn Forest, now appears in the TUBBZ series as a giant XL-sized duck! Not only does it stand at 23 cm tall, but it can also accommodate two regular-sized TUBBZ series characters on Treebeard's body. If you collect Merry and Pippin from The Lord of the Rings series, you can combine them to recreate the adorable scene of their march on Isengard. In addition to its impressive size, the sculpted details on Treebeard are also excellent, including the complex texture of the bark, the gnarled branches, the vibrant green sprouts and beard-like dense vines, as well as mushrooms and snails on its surface. Although Treebeard has sprawling tree trunks, the overall design still perfectly captures the form of a rubber duck, making it even more charming.
