FuRyu Corporation (フリュー株式会社), a Japanese company with various entertainment businesses, has announced a new product in its affordable TENITOL figure series: a pre-painted figure of "Conan Edogawa" from the classic anime "Detective Conan." The suggested retail price is 6,050 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in December 2024!
"Detective Conan," a mystery manga created by Japanese manga artist Gosho Aoyama, was adapted into an anime by TMS Entertainment. Since its broadcast began in 1996, over a thousand TV anime episodes have been released. In the series, Conan often uses the tranquilizer watch made for him by Professor Agasa to sedate Ran's father, Kogoro Mouri, and then uses his voice-changing bow tie to explain his deductions in Kogoro's voice, unexpectedly earning Kogoro the title of "Sleeping Kogoro"!
This TENITOL Conan Edogawa pre-painted figure faithfully recreates Conan's focused expression as he hides behind the sofa, using his voice-changing bow tie. The wrinkles and texture of his blue suit, as well as his transparent glasses, are also accurately reproduced. The product includes the sofa in front, allowing collectors to combine it with other character figures in their collection for display. This release will also include an acrylic stand featuring Kogoro Mouri in his sleeping pose, which can be displayed alongside Conan!
