The popular action figure series "S.H.Figuarts," released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collectors' toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., will feature "Dragon Ball GT" as its theme and release a new product: the "S.H.Figuarts Super 17" action figure. The suggested retail price is 9,900 JPY (tax included), and it is scheduled for release in December 2024!
The villain "Super 17," who appeared in the original anime "Dragon Ball GT," is a fusion of Android 17, created by Dr. Gero, and Hell Fighter 17, created by the evil scientist Dr. Myuu. He can absorb opponents' attacks, using the energy from energy blasts to enhance his own power. He is incredibly powerful, capable of overwhelmingly defeating the Z Fighters by himself.
The "S.H.Figuarts Super 17" action figure measures 155 mm in height. It combines the S.H.Figuarts articulation structure to recreate Super 17's muscular physique. Notably, the chest is divided according to the costume design, balancing both articulation and aesthetic proportions. His flowing long hair also features articulation points, allowing it to easily sway with body poses. It comes with four face expression parts: "serious face," "shouting face," "gritting teeth face," and "evil smirk face." Additionally, it includes the special move "Electro Eruption" (電撃地獄玉) effect part, as well as mechanical replacement hands and other accessories, to recreate the intense battles from the series!
