Hong Kong toy company STORM COLLECTIBLES, known for releasing numerous action figures of fighting game and comic characters, has announced a new product based on the fighting video game "Fighting EX Layer"—the "Skullomania" 1/12 Scale Action Figure. The suggested retail price is US$58, with an estimated release in Q4 2024!
"Fighting EX Layer" is a fighting game developed and released by Japanese company Arika in 2018. Spiritually, it inherits from "Fighting Layer" and "Street Fighter EX," allowing players to use many characters previously developed by Arika. Skullomania is one such character who first appeared in "Street Fighter EX." Skullomania's real name is Saburo Nishikoyama, a department store salesman. However, during a hero show organized by his company, his desire to protect justice was ignited, leading him to train himself and become "Skullomania."
This Skullomania 1/12 scale action figure is crafted based on his appearance in "Fighting EX Layer." The iconic skull hero suit is faithfully reproduced with paintwork, meticulously showcasing the muscle lines beneath the tight suit, and even replicating the fabric wrinkles at the joints.
