American designer toy brand KIDROBOT recently collaborated with the renowned American adult animated series 'South Park' to create a physical art figure of the infamous character "Towelie" from the show. The suggested retail price is US$64.99, with an estimated release in Q3 2024!
"Towelie" first appeared in 'South Park' Season 5, Episode 8, "Towelie". He is a light purple towel with a severe drug addiction, and despite multiple attempts to quit, he has never been able to escape the clutches of drugs. His cute appearance forms a strong contrast with the various crazy antics he performs for drugs, creating a mix of humor and sadness. When Cartman angrily scolds him, "You're the worst character ever!", Towelie simply replies, "I know".
This "Towelie with Tegridy Burger" art figure stands approximately 20.3 cm tall, recreating Towelie's satisfied look from Season 23, Episode 8, where he is seen eating a Tegridy Burger at Randy's "Tegridy" cannabis farm. The Tegridy Burger he holds, which gets better with every bite, is detachable. The main body features a real towel encased and secured within a transparent plastic shell. On this plastic shell, Towelie's limbs, smiling mouth, and incredibly high-looking red eyes are sculpted, capturing the visual effect of a towel while also fixing the figure's pose, thus reproducing the absurd image of this purple towel! Good kids, don't try this at home!
