Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company's collector toy division, TAMASHII NATIONS, recently announced the latest limited-edition product from "Mashin Hero Wataru," the "NXEDGE STYLE Ryuo-maru Special Color Edition," scheduled for release in May 2024. This product will only be sold exclusively at the official flagship store TAMASHII NATIONS STORE and the official exhibition space TAMASHII SPOT.
This product is a modified version of the previously released standard edition "NXEDGE STYLE Ryuo-maru." The entire unit has been re-painted with a luxurious color scheme. The shoulder end armor and knee armor, which were originally uniformly white, have been changed to light gray, enhancing the layering of the armor. The gold and gunmetal parts throughout the body also feature different paint tones compared to the original version. The golden dragon emblems on both shoulders are now produced using hot-stamping transfer printing technology, commonly known as foil stamping, which provides a metallic surface texture closer to real metal than the original gold paint.
Other specifications remain the same as the standard edition and include a clear display stand. Despite its approximately 10 cm height, it features flexible articulated joints. Its armaments include the Hououken (Phoenix Dragon Sword) and Ryuo Shield, allowing for various combat poses. By replacing certain parts, it can also transform into its flying form, "Houou Form."
